Student Behavior

Our Expectations for Student Behavior

We are interested in teaching children in a safe and effective manner. To do this, we need complete cooperation from every child in class. A child who disrupts class detracts from both the safety and the progress of the other children in class. For this reason, we will allow students to take lessons here only if they behave in a safe manner at all times.

What we consider safe behavior:
Observing all gym rules
Following the teacher's instructions
Focusing on the skills presented
Staying with the class at all times

What we consider unsafe or unacceptable behavior:
Disobeying safety rules
Disobeying the teacher's instructions
Not listening to the teacher
Playing on the equipment
Hitting or fighting
Swearing

The first time a child's behavior is unacceptable, the child will be verbally warned.

The second time your child's teacher sees unacceptable behavior, the child will be sent out of class for 5 minutes. A written notice will be sent to your home and your child's teacher will try to verbally contact you to discuss the problem.

The third time your child's behavior is unacceptable, we will refund the balance of your tuition, and your child will be un-enrolled from classes.

Thank you for discussing this with your child. You cooperation helps us provide the highest quality gymnastics epxerience for every child.
